8:24am: News round-up: Japanese The Fall, Doncamatic DJ Harry Love, Snoop track, Doctor Dee, MTVu Woodies
A round-up of the latest Gorillaz news over the past few days...

1. The Fall Japanese edition
HMV.co.jp are listing a Japanese edition of Gorillaz' album The Fall here, set for release on 20th April, with catalogue number TOCP66952. According to a listing over at cdjapan here, this edition won't have any bonus tracks but there is a promise of a 'tour map' included, according to the official Japanese description on CDJapan. This may be exclusive to the Japanese edition. More info as we get it.

2. Doncamatic (DJ Harry Love Remix) out now
We previously brought you news of a play this remix got on BBC Radio 1, and now DJ Harry Love has uploaded it to Soundcloud for all to hear (the Radio 1 play didn't feature the whole remix and had shoutouts over it). Check it out here. Download links, courtesy of DJ Harry Love, and with the approval of Gorillaz' management, included.

3. Mini Snoop comment on 'Sumthin Like This Night'
We've been following the news of the new Gorillaz / Snoop collaboration for a while now, and the track 'Sumthin Like This Night' is due out on Snoop's new album Doggumentary next week. Yesterday Gorillaz uploaded a short clip of Snoop commenting on the track - check it out on Youtube here. Website Somekindofawesome has the full track here (maybe of dubious legality!) (thanks vinylmoose for the news)

4. MTVu Woodies
Gorillaz were up for 'Best Video' for Stylo at the MTVu Woodie awards, held on March 16th. However they didn't win the award, which went to Chiddy Bang's 'Opposite Of Adults'

5. Doctor Dee
We've been following the story of Damon and Jamie's opera since Damon first talked about it in definite terms in late 2009. Well in the end it's ended up being just Damon's opera (according to officially released credits), it's called 'Doctor Dee' and as previously revealed it is about the life of Englishman John Dee. Also as previously covered, it premieres at this year's Manchester International Festival, dates are now out and further information including ticketing information can be found on the Manchester International Festival site here. Thanks to everyone who sent this in, including Dubchimp
