11:24pm: Gorillaz news round-up - physical Fall, D+J video interview, new Hot Topic tshirt, new poster, awards
Apologies for the lack of updates over the last week or so. Here's all the recent Gorillaz news we haven't reported on before now...

1. chrsflmmkr was the first to send the news that several online retailers, including Amazon.co.uk here and Amazon.com here are now listing a release of The Fall on CD, due out 18th April in the UK, on Parlophone, and 19th April in the USA, on Virgin Records. No word on the tracklisting or packaging, etc. We're also hearing a strong rumour that there will also be a limited vinyl release of The Fall, to coincide with Record Store Day. More on this one as we get it.

2. Someone has posted a previously-uncirculated 8-minute interview with Damon and Jamie on Youtube. The interview was conducted while they were in France during the tour late last year. Check out the interview on Youtube here. Thanks to TheBritishSushi for sending in the news.

3. Hot Topic have released another new Gorillaz tshirt (at least in the US and Canada). It's a design featuring 2D's face, in blue. This comes just over a month that Hot Topic released another new Gorillaz tshirt (previous G-U news item here). This new tshirt can be viewed on the Hot Topic site here. This link may not work outside the US and Canada - if not, you can click 'Read More' below to see a screen grab showing it. Thanks to Satania Niccals for sending in this news.

4. There's a new Gorillaz poster onsale from several reputable retailers (but not, as yet, the Gorillaz stores). It uses the same image as the January Hot Topic tshirt. You can view it here, and it's all over ebay too. Thanks to GuzziHero for the news.

5. Gorillaz didn't pick up any awards at this year's NME Awards, held at London's Brixton Academy on 23rd February. Stylo was up for best video but lost out to My Chemical Romance – 'Na Na Na (Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na)', Plastic Beach was up for best artwork but lost out to Klaxons – 'Surfing The Void', and Stylo lost out in the Track Of The Year category to Foals – 'Spanish Sahara' .

6. Gorillaz are up for another award - this time at the MTVu Woodie Awards. Stylo is up for best video. The awards are due to be given out on March 16th, during the SXSW music festival.
