Gorillaz support no-bomb.com

ginacartoon sends the news that Gorillaz have pledged their support to the No-Bomb.com campaign, a campaign that aims to stop the UK government renewing the UK's nuclear weapons program when the current one expires. The campaign has already attracted the support of many famous musicians. You can check out the campaign's official website here and the official Myspace here. The site features an original new piece of art from Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett to tie-in with the campaign.

Murdoc says in the official press release / email: "Listen up kids! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get your hands on an excellent set of second-hand bombs. These bad boys have only had one previous owner, and each one can obliterate a city completely. Cool, huh? And how did I get my hands on them? Well, the Government wants to refurbish their current arsenal with a £76 BILLION pound nuclear makeover. Yup! £76 BILLION. Sounds crazy, but I'm sure they know what they're doing. And I’m sure they’ll be sticking the old lot up for sale somewhere, to cover at least some of the losses. If not, well, they’d be just chucking your…ah...their money around really".
