MTV Europe Music Awards, Lisbon, 3rd November (pictures!, video!)
Gorillaz won 'best group' at the EMAs tonight. Jamie Hewlett accepted the award, commenting 'Best band... and we don't even exist!' (and then spreading his arms in triumph). Gorillaz performed 'Feel Good Inc' using revolutionary technology.(thanks to That Man G for writing in).

for us americans, the emas will air on mtv on nov. 11th at 9pm eastern/8pm central. if you get mtv2, they will be airing it off and on this weekend and next week. i don't know if i can wait a week just to tape the performance (wait, YES I CAN!).

The Gorillaz perfomance was the best!!!!! THEY HAD SUCCESSED IN THE MTV WITH THAT PRESENTATION!!!! Here in Latinamerica are gonna pass the EMAS on November 10th, sooo I'm gonna recorded it on a tape!!! ^_^

MAN THE WORLD TOUR ARE GONNA BE SOOO AWESOME WITH THOSE 3D HOLOGRAMS PERFOMANCES!!!!!!

I wish they had won more, but of all of the awards to take home, BEST GROUP is the one to proud of! I'm so happy! I can't wait to see teh pictures and media. I feel like celebrating...

HAHA OMG.

I was watching it just now, and it gave the announcemnt about 'bla bla bla this is live bla bla bla may be swearing bla bla' and all, but then it said 'Also, the statements of any fictional characters do not necessarily reflect the views of MTv'.

I doubt it was aimed at Gorillaz, but it still had me going :d

Anyways, congrats to you Gorillaz! You guys, once again, deserve it!

Now to wait for the show..

If you were watching it on MTV2, the performance was JUST ON.

And I have to say..

HOLY FREAKING CRAP. THAT WAS THE BEST THING EVER. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.

The holograms were.. that was.. omg. I have no words to describe it.

But I have to say- the best part was the phone. OMG.

And I do mean "sound"... I can't see the image... My Quicktime didn't open, so I used Real Player and I could hear it at last... Any other program that opens mp4 files? I have no idea...

Yeah I'm having the same fucking problem. I always have problems with Quicktime too. You can never really ERASE it from your HD, least I couldn't and there was a whole other assortment of problems caused by quick time. >_

that was soo awesome!!!!!!!!!!! omg i cant wait till pics come up!!!! seeing that i have only 1 tv that has mtv2 i made my mom watch tv somewhere else. also seeing that one tv has a stupid vcr that wouldnt tape the performence, i have no way of seeing it again.
