Gorillaz exhibition in Paris - pictures, including 3 all-new!
There is currently a Gorillaz exhibition (co-curated by Jamie Hewlett) being held in the AUBER station of the Paris Metro, in Paris, France. There's only two days (Friday and Saturday) to run sadly, but with a big thanks to Gorillaz fan Sabrina who attended the exhibition, we can all get to see what there was on show.

oh gosh the Catch 23 one makes 2D remind me of a pinata...and russ has a bat...o_o;
the second one, I thought 2d looked like noodle for a minute there! 8.
XD and he's hung over in the first one...awesome!
of course 2D looked the best there! *giggle* It's all in french though...

gaaah Hewlett really is a genius isnt he? I just finished re reading the first tankgirl tradepaper and it's amazing how much his style has developed over time.
What a legend. There is just no beating his style.

hah and I guess they're the ones who bought the Geep when it was back up for sale on ebay. X3

some corrections : the name of the station is "AUBER" and not "Auberge" and there are 2 days to run, friday and saturday !

ALRIGHT. I'll take this down a notch. SOMEBODY has to do it...

So much 2D gushing. WHAT ABOUT MURDOC?

In the first picture he's got an attitude like "Um, yeah. This is boring. I need to find something mean and destructive to do..."

Second image... I don't really feel need to comment.

THIRD IMAGE: OMG POUTY MURDOC. It's borderline pouty/predatory. So not amused. And it's probably because of something YOU did.

One 2D comment, though. In the Catch-23 image he looks like a zombie from the cover of Celebrity Take Down. That's not bad, just an observation.

not as many people in the US like gorillaz as they do in europe i guess. in fact, one of my friends said they didnt like gorillaz. that problem was taken care of immediately

oh, and i love all 3 of the pics. i think my favorite one is the 1st one of the group in the subway. has anyone noticed that russel aint wearing a shirt, just the combat vest. Hes definately got issues with farm animals

What a wonderful exhibition! For a moment I was considering to go to Paris just to see it!! But then I realised I better save up my money for Manchester. XP
