Lelis sends the news that Gorillaz make appearances in 'Best of the decade' lists compiled by Billboard (US chart publisher and publisher of Billboard magazine) and Rolling Stone (the popular long-running US music magazine).
Billboard's lists are compiled solely by sales. Demon Days appears at #1 in the "Dance/Electronic albums of the Decade" list, and Gorillaz appear at #1 on the "Dance/Electronic Artists of the Decade" list. Gorillaz are also appear in the top selling artists of the decade list (the "Billboard 200 Artists" list) at #169. Check out the full article here.
Rolling Stone has compiled a list of the top 100 songs of the decade (based on the opinions of their writers) and Gorillaz have two entries on this list - Clint Eastwood appears at #38 and Feel Good Inc. appears at #99. Check out the full list here.
