I can't believe they would make something like this! I mean, it's awesome in every way, but it seems like such an obscure show to produce. I hope it makes it to the U.S. soon!

For folks who haven't seen or even heard of RYUKI, or just barely heard of it, you're probably wondering just what the big deal is.

Jimmy Freebie's (the one with the basketball for a head) voice was done by Phil Cornwell! I thought he sounded like Murdoc. XD

I love this in so many ways! It's about the coolest show I have ever seen. It's almost like the comic itself came to life! :)

it's great to see something new from the 'gang'. i liked the humour of it. and just read the frigging subtitles on the news: ''turn off the tv, go out and do something less boring!!''.. awesome...
and behold the credits; ''original title theme by nomad al barn'', oh boy :))...
BTW, they used the track 'el manana' in the episode

Yes, that's true, there's a lot of humour, and quite fast! I was reading the news while the Alan guy was talking, they were very nonsensical. xD Kind of remind of old series, and, I don't know, I like it a lot.
Oh yes! "El Mañana" was a very nice surprise! :D

seriously, people, if it was a bloody cameo appearance, wouldn't you think it would be a very little one, not an almost close-up of the face? that bloke doesn't look like Jamie at all.

I might get flamed for saying this... I thought it was a bit cheesy. I wanted to like it, I really did, but.... eh. I guess I just expected it to be funnier because Jessica Hynes wrote the screenplay, and she's usually hilarious.
The music was great though. And there were some little funny bits, like when the news guy is commentating the coronation. "We're English. AND WE'RE BETTER THAN YOU." :D

it kinda reminded me of a british version of power rangers, but funnier, with better actors, better storyline (by FAR) and better effects for the characters...they actually move thier mouths instead of just nodding thier heads when they speak. i like it ^_^

NOTE: power rangers does in fact...SUCK!

Anyway, thanks so much for posting! I hope it comes to the U.S. soon. I'd settle for DVD.
